Ravichandran Ashwin bowls with non stationary left arm in TNPL

Ravichandran Ashwin was not part of the India squad that exited the World Cup in the semi final stage of the competition but the off spinner is making headlines.

The 32-year-old is known for his different bowling actions from time to time and he was at it again in the Tamil Nadu Premier League.

Playing for Dindigul Dragons against Chepauk Super Gillies, Ashwin bowled a ball with his left arm not moving at all and to add to the unpredictability he also bowled the ball with his wrong foot.

It was the penultimate ball of the innings with Super Gillies requiring 17 runs off the two balls and with one wicket in hand. The Dragons went on to win the match by 10 runs to make a victorious start to their TNPL campaign.

Ashwin is playing after having played in English domestic cricket for Nottinghamshire.
