Rift between MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja: What happened so far

Reports of a rift between MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja seem unusual since the two players have shared a close camaraderie for many years.

MS Dhoni was earlier observed being engaged in a heated conversation with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.

Indian cricket fans were left perplexed and concerned as reports emerged of a potential rift between MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja, two players who have shared a close camaraderie for many years. The incident unfolded during a match between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Delhi Capitals (DC) on May 20.

Following CSK's convincing victory over DC, captain MS Dhoni was observed being engaged in a heated conversation with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Social media quickly buzzed with fans pointing out Jadeja's below-par bowling figures, as he conceded 50 runs in his allocated four overs while managing to claim only a single wicket.

A day later, Jadeja took to Twitter and posted a cryptic message about karma. Retweeting an image that read "Karma will get back at you, sooner or later it surely will," Jadeja added his own comment, stating "Definitely" along with a thumbs-up emoji.

While it remains unclear whom Jadeja was referring to or if it was merely an expression of his opinion, cricket enthusiasts raised questions about the timing of the tweet, coinciding with his confrontation with skipper MS Dhoni.

Jadeja's wife, Rivaba Ravindrasinh Jadeja, later reacted to her husband's enigmatic tweet by retweeting it and adding the words "Follow your own path..." The interaction further amplified the speculation surrounding Jadeja's heated conversation with Dhoni following CSK's impressive 77-run victory over DC.

CSK's Instagram account added fuel to the fire by sharing a photo of MS Dhoni interacting with teammates, noticeably excluding Jadeja from the image. The caption read, "When MS Dhoni speaks, we all know what to do. We listen, we follow, and we win," intriguingly omitting any mention of 'Sir' Jadeja.

In a recent development, after being awarded the Upstox Most Valuable Player in the last match against GT, Ravindra Jadeja posted, "Upstox knows but... some fans don't," along with two laughing emojis.

As the cricketing world eagerly awaits further updates, fans remain hopeful that any differences between the two players, if any, will be resolved amicably, allowing them to continue their successful partnership on the field.
