It was seventh time unlucky for Pakistan as they once again went down to India in a World Cup encounter.

India batted their neighbours out of the game thanks to Rohit Sharma’s ton and a sublime 65-ball 77 from India skipper Virat Kohli. There was also valuable contribution from KL Rahul, who scored a valuable half century and added more than 100 runs for the first wicket.

That came after Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed had won the toss at Old Trafford and elected to bowl. And that is what caused Shoaib Akhtar to call Sarfraz Ahmed brainless on his You Tube channel.

"Like Virat Kohli sent Pakistan to bat on a good batting surface in Champions Trophy, Sarfaraz made the same mistake today. How can someone be so brainless as a captain? He didn't even think that we are not good at chasing down targets and opted to field first after winning the toss," Akhtar said in the video posted on his channel.

The loss against India means Pakistan are now second bottom of the table with just three points from five games and face a desperate situation to make it to the semis.
