I've lost so much weight today. Never been that stressed in my life in a cricket game. Happy to come out on the winning side. I knew I was probably going to be the option (for the Super Over). Captain said to keep doing the same. Did the same with the slower balls but didn't come off in the Super Over. With the way they were going I knew they were going to keep attacking us (in the powerplay), brought the slower ball into play. Message (from SA batters) was that the slower balls into the wicket was gripping. Captain said it was going to be a scrap but I didn't know it was going to be that much of a scrap. Big part of T20 cricket (catching). Have seen in a couple of earlier games that dropped catches can cost the game.
What a game it has been. It was not over until it was over. This is probably the first instance of a game with two Super Overs in a T20 World Cup. This is South Africa's second win on trot and Afghanistan's second consecutive loss.

What a fightback from Afghanistan this is. Needing more than 60 runs from the last 6 overs, Rashid Khan and Co were all out for 187 in the final over. Super Over to follow. This is the first Super Over in this edition of the tournament.
Afghanistan stutter after a flying start. Baring Rahmanullah Gurbaz's 84, none of the Afghanistan batters have been able to put up a show as South African bowlers rule the roost. None of the batters except Gurbaz has been able to cross the 20-run mark as Lungi Ngidi scalped two. Keshav Maharaj and Kagiso Rabada took one wicket apiece. In fact, Maharaj took the priced wicket of Gurbaz.
AFG 125-5 (13.4)
Afghanistan are off to a flying start in the chase with Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran opening the batting. In fact, Gurbaz has scored the bulk of the runs, with 25 runs from 13 balls so far, and amde sure his team gets a boundary in every over.
AFG 33/0 (3)
Ryan Rickelton: I really enjoyed being out there with Quinny (Quinton de Kock). We put together a fast partnership. The first part was difficult, but we managed to find a little bit of momentum and kind of helped the whole process. But the plan was just really simple, look to just absorb (the pressure) a bit and then the ball came and I tried to put the pressure back.
28 runs comes from the last two overs helped South Africa reach 187/6 in 20 overs. Afghanistan need 188 runs to win.
After Rashid Khan, its time for Azmatullah Omarzai to take two in an over as he gets better of Dewald Brevis and Tristan Stubbs within a space of three balls. In what was looking like a 200-plus score, the Afghanistan have pulled things back quite well.
SA 159-5 (18)
OUTTT!!! Double blow for South Africa and double joy for Rashid Khan. The Afghanistan captain first gets better of Quinto de Kock, thus bringing a massive 114-run stand to a halt. De Kock pulls Rashid but the ball goes flat straight into the hands of Ibrahim Zadran at deep midwicket. De Kock departs for 59. Two balls later, Rickelton gets trapped in front for 61. David Miller and Dewald Brevis are out in the middle.
SA 135-3 (15)
After the wicket of Aiden Markram early on, South Africa have put Afghanistan on backfoot with a 114-run stand between Ryan Rickelton and Quinton de Kock. While De Kock got to his fifty first, Rickelton followed suit as the Proteas look to take the game away from Afghanistan.
SA 124-1 (12)
OUTTTT!!! Dream start for Afghanistan as a change of pace from Fazalhaq Farooqi does the job. Aiden Markram goes for an early lofted drive, gets the toe end of the bat for an easy catch by Mohammad Nabi. Markram departs for 5.
SA 12-1 (3)
