It was another Test match, another hundred for Steve Smith as he racked up another hundred against England at Old Trafford, Manchester on Day 2 of the fourth Test on Thursday.
With the ton, Steve Smith now has 11 Test hundreds against England and that is joint fourth for any player against any opponent.
Former India captain and legend, Sachin Tendulkar has 11 hundreds against Australia and the duo is now fourth on the list of players who have the most hundreds against one particular opponent.
On top of the list is Sir Don Bradman, who has 19 hundreds against England while second and third on the list are Sunil Gavaskar and Sir Jack Hobbs who have 13 and 12 tons against West Indies and Australia respectively.
Earlier in the week, Smith regained his number one rank in ICC Test rankings overtaking India captain Virat Kohli. Steve Smith has 904 points compared to Kohli's 903.
