Asian Games 2023: India's Sarabjot, Shiva and Arjun clinch gold in shooting
Hangzhou Asian Games: Sarabjot Singh, Shiva Narwal, and Arjun Singh Cheema win gold in 10 metre Air Pistol Men's team event

Asian Games 2023: Taking India's medal tally a step ahead, Sarabjot Singh, Shiva Narwal, and Arjun Singh Cheema won gold in 10 metre Air Pistol Men's team event in Hangzhou, China on Thursday.
The Indian team finished one point ahead of silver medal holders China. Notably, this is the fourth gold medal in shooting and an overall in the ongoing Asian Games. The match alsowitnessed a comeback from Sarabjot Singh to qualify in fifth place for the final of the individual event. His teammate, Arjun Singh, qualified for the final in the eighth place. Shiva Narwal failed to qualify for the individual finishing as he ended 14th in the spot. However, their combined score was enough to surpass China's score and win Gold.
The Indian team won gold medal with 1734 points. Chine stood on second position with 1733 points and Vietnam secured bronze with 1730 points. The new victory has brought 13 medals in shooting with four gold, four silver and five bronze. Earlier, India's Sift Kaur Samra won gold in the women's 50 m rifle 3P individual final on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Indian shooting trio of Manu Bhaker, Esha Singh and Rhythm Sangwan continued their winning streak in shooting and clinched gold medal in the women's 25 m pistol team event on Wednesday. Beginning of India's victory in the match was marked by the Gold medal won by team India's shooting trio, Divyansh Panwar, Rudrankksh Patil, and Aishwary Tomar in the men's 10 m air rifle team event. Till now, India have won 23 medals at the Asian Games which include 5 Golds.
