India has made its mark at the Asian Games 2023, achieving its best-ever medal tally in the history of the tournament. As of October 4, India has won a total of 84 medals, with 21 gold medals, 31 silver medals and 32 bronze medals. On Day 12, India won gold in archery compound women's and mens's team event while Dipika Pallikal, Harinder Pal Sandhu won gold in Squash Mixed Doubles event.
On October 4, Indian race walkers Manju Rani and Ram Baboo won the bronze medal in the 35km race walk mixed team event. On the same day, Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Pravin Ojas Deotale won gold in the Compound Archery Mixed Team event. Anahat Singh and Abhay Singh signed off with a bronze medal in squash mixed doubles. Boxer Parveen Hooda has signed off with a bronze medal. Lovlina Borgohain signed off with silver in women's 75kg boxing after losing to China's Li Qian. The highlight of October 4 also was golden boy Neeraj Chopra, who won gold medal in the men's javelin throw final.
