Apple has been updating its software consistently to fix weird bugs that came with the release of iOS 13 in November. In an attempt to tweak these minor bugs and ensure smooth-running of the iPhones and iPads, the company rolled out the latest update version 13.2.3.
Users have often encountered glitches such as inconsistency at the system level and in the Mail, Files, and Notes apps apart from sudden app crash from time to time. The Curpentino-based company, through this update, focusses on fixing the issue along with increase in security updates.
iOS 13.2.3 includes bug fixes and improvements. This update:
-Fixes an issue where system search and search within Mail, Files and Notes might not work
-Addresses an issue where photos, links and other attachments might not display in the Messages details view
-Fixes an issue that could prevent apps from downloading content in the background
-Resolves issues that may prevent Mail from fetching new messages, and fail to include and quote original message content in Exchange accounts
Steps to update your Apple devices:
There are two ways to update your iPhone and iPad devices: automatically or manually. If you have switched on 'Automatic Updates', the latest version will get installed on your device as soon as it gets connected to the Wi-Fi. However, if you want to manually update your iPhone or iPad, here are the steps to do it:
1. Go to Settings
2. In Settings, select General
3. Select Software Update and then press Download and Install
Do note, once you update to the latest version, you cannot revert to the earlier version.
