After being launched in China, the Black Shark 2 Pro will make its way to Europe on October 9, a newsletter from the company said. Xiaomi-backed Black Shark said the smartphone will go on a flash sale on 9 October during which buyers will receive a free gamepad kit and other gaming accessories at 50% discount.
According to the company's newsletter, the Black Shark 2 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 855+ SoC, which the company claims to provide 15% faster GPU rendering, UFS 3.0 fast storage and LiquidCooling 3.0+. It will be available in two storage variants of 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB and three colour schemes, namely Shadow Black, Iceberg Grey and Gulf Blue.
The Black Shark 2, launched previously this year, included a 6.39-inch TrueView AMOLED Display with HDR tone mapping and MEMC processing. It also came with Master Touch pressure sensitive tech, which lets you set a custom touch zone and trigger multiple on-screen actions with just two thumbs.
The Chinese variant of the Black Shark 2 Pro is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that can be charged via a 27W charger and runs Android 9 Pie. It boasts a 48MP+12MP rear camera setup and a 20MP front facing snapper. It will also have a built in fingerprint sensor as the primary security feature, along with the host of connectivity options in terms of 3G, 4G, GPS, Wifi Bluetooth capabilities.
The smartphone's availability in India is not yet confirmed by the company.
