NEW DELHI : As every fourth smartphone sold in India is from Xiaomi, it is not surprising that some of the best selling mobile phone brands are from the Chinese company. According to a latest market report, Xiaomi's sales grew 7% last quarter on a year-on-year basis, driven by demand coming through e-commerce websites ahead of the Diwali festive season.

Xiaomi: Redmi 7A, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 7S are the best selling smartphones from Xiaomi, according to a Counterpoint Research report.

OnePlus: OnePlus, the No. 1 premium smartphone brand, doubled its sales as compared to the last year. According to the report, OnePlus 7T and the rest of the OnePlus 7 series are getting most of the attention from buyers. The new-launched OnePlus 7T (7T 8GB/128GB) is priced at 37,999 while the (8GB/256GB) version is selling at 39,999. The smartphone maker was offering OnePlus 7 at discount before the festive season.

iPhone: Riding high on demand for its newly-launched iPhone 11 and a price cut of iPhone XR model, Apple is now back as one of top 10 smartphone brands in India.

Besides Xiaomi, three other mobile phone brands -- Samsung, Vivo and Realme -- dominates about 80% of India's smartphone market.

Samsung: In the budget segment, Samsung's Galaxy A2 Core and its upgraded A series and M series (A30s, M30s, A10s, A50s and M10s) were among the bestsellers for the brand.

In the premium segment, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series caught the fascination of the market.

Vivo: Mid-segment series (vivo S1 and Y17) are popular along with the recently-launched devices U10, Z1X and Z1 Pro.

OPPO: Budget segment device A5s and F11 series.

Realme: Realme C2, Realme 3i and Realme 5 series were the best-selling devices for the brand in the September quarter.
