Nokia 4.2 launched at ₹10,990 in India: Price, offers, specifications

Nokia's brand licensee HMD Global launched a new smartphone in India, the Nokia 4.2, today. Packing up to 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a Snapdragon 439 processor, the smartphone is priced at ₹10,990.
Nokia 4.2 is available exclusively on Nokia website for a 7-day period starting today and exclusively across select retail outlets and partners like Croma, Reliance, Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C and MyG starting 14th May.
Pan-Indian availability across top mobile retail outlets and Nokia.com/phones will start from 21 May.
Launch offers on the Nokia 4.2 include an instant ₹500 off till 10 June. Consumers can use promo code “LAUNCHOFFER" to avail this limited period offer when purchasing Nokia 4.2 on www.nokia.com/phones.
Customers also get free six-month screen replacement worth ₹3,500 covered under Nokia phone screen protection insurance. Vodafone and Idea subscribers will receive INR 2,500 instant cashback by way of vouchers.
The Finnish smartphone company globally unveiled the smartphone alongside three other smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 held at Barcelona, namely the Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 1 Plus.
The Nokia 4.2 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. It is powered by a Snapdragon 439 chipset paired with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and up to 32GB of internal storage. At the back, the Nokia 4.2 flashes a 2.5D curved glass along with a fingerprint scanner. In terms of optics, the smartphone boasts of a dual camera setup at the back with a 13MP+2MP combination. At the front, it has an 8MP sensor. It packs a 3,000mAh battery.
The smartphone runs Android Pie 9 and is a part of the Android One program. It comes in two colour variants of black and pink sand.
