Today, OnePlus will finally take the covers off its latest and greatest devices so far. The myths and speculations surrounding the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will end at 8:15 pm tonight at an event in Bengaluru.

While the OnePlus 7 Pro will be OnePlus' most premium offering to date, the OnePlus 7 will improve upon the OnePlus 6 and 6T. The former will take on the big guns of the industry—the Samsung Galaxy S10, Huawei P30 Pro, Google Pixel 3 XL and even the iPhone XS.

The 2019 line-up of OnePlus devices would be unveiled globally on 14 May at 8:15 pm at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bengaluru. The live stream will commence at the same time at OnePlus' dedicated microsite. You can also catch it on the company's Facebook and YouTube handles.

OnePlus, in its numerous teasers on its social media handles, has confirmed that the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with a notch-less, HDR10+ AMOLED display, UFS3.0 flash storage, a pop-up front facing camera and a triple rear camera setup. OnePlus hasn't mentioned the specifications of these. Also, the company hasn't talked much about the OnePlus 7 in its online posts and teasers.

The OnePlus 7 Pro also showed up on a Geekbench listing with scores of 3,526 and 11,101 in single-core and multi-core tests respectively. The smartphone was listed under the codename OnePlus GM1917 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and 12GB of RAM.

SlashLeaks posted out the full specifications of the OnePlus 7 Pro in a Tweet. According to it, the smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and three RAM and storage configurations that max out at 12GB/256GB. The display will be notch-less and will have curved edges, much like the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Huawei P30 Pro. At the back it sports a 48MP+16MP+8MP combination. The 16MP and 18MP sensors have wide angle and telephoto lenses respectively. The front facing pop-up mechanism houses a 16MP camera. The phone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.

Expected price

According to leakster Ishan Agarwal, the prices of the OnePlus 7 Pro will start at 49,999 for the base 6GB/128GB configuration. The 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants are expected to be priced at 52,999 and 57,999 respectively. The device will come in "Nebula Blue" and "Mirror Grey" colour options.
