Amid rising rumours about Redmi smartphones, the Xiaomi sub-brand recently announced that it may launch Redmi K20's successor, Redmi K30 on 10 December, 2019.
In a teaser posted by Chinese website Weibo, the Redmi K30 series will house a massive 64MP with the latest generation IMX686. Moreover, the camera will also come with a 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens and a 20MP AI front camera as well as a 12 filter options to enhance shots on-the-go.
The post also announced a major development in the new Redmi K30. According to the teaser, the the flagship smartphone comes with the camera of the 5G era. In addition to that, the Redmi K30 is expected to arrive with Movie Mode.
Several rumours have also surfaced about the storage, size and price of the upcoming Redmi smartphone. While a few media reports suggest that Redmi K30 may be available in 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM options along with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of internal storage, these ooptions are speculative and prone to change. Apart from that, the smartphone may run on the latest Android 10 OS and powered by Snapdragon 765.
Redmi K30 expected price:
Looking at the features, especially camera-wise, it is a significant upgrade from its current version, Redmi K20. Launched in May this year, the Redmi K20 comes with 48MP-triple camera set up and is currently priced at ₹20,965. Redmi K20 also comes in three variants: 64GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 6GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM.
Considering the price and specifications of the currently available Redmi K20, the expected price of Redmi K30 might be around the same range of ₹20,000- ₹25,000, as rumours are also suggesting. We are expecting on the same line till Xiaomi unveils the flagship smartphone in another two days.
