Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi today teased the launch of its upcoming flagship smartphone the Redmi Note 9 series in India via its social media platform. The Chinese smartphone maker is set to launch its new Note series entailing the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro on 12 March, 2020 at noon.

"#ProCamerasMaxPerformance is going to be nothing like you have ever seen before!", the company teased from its official Twitter handle, suggesting that the Redmi Note 9 series will come with a quad rear camera setup.

Redmi Note 9 expected price:

The successor of Redmi Note 8, the Redmi Note 9 is packed with exciting features. Seen as Xiaomi's affordable smartphone series, the Redmi Note 8 series was launched below the 20,000-mark, and thus, the same can be expected from Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Redmi Note 9 expected specifications:

The company has revealed a bunch of specifications on its official website, Mi.com along with the countdown to the event. According to the release, the Redmi Note 9 is packed with quad rear camera setup and also boasts of a faster refresh rate, which can be that of 90Hz display.

Apart from that, the website shows significant changes in the design, processor and gaming features and a fast-charging feature for the upcoming smartphones.

The Chinese smartphone maker has also released a video showcasing the success story of Redmi phones in India till now and also, how it aims to continue the legacy with the latest phones.
