Samsung Galaxy A50s and A30s were launched in India on Wednesday at an event in New Delhi. The Galaxy A50s is priced at ₹24,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant while the Galaxy A30s has a price tag of ₹22,999 for the 4GB/128GB model. The smartphones have gone on sale today via Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, and Samsung Online Shop. They will also available for purchase at offline retailers.
Samsung is refreshing the smartphone models it launched earlier this year with an '-s' suffix—the Galaxy M30s was announced to be launched on 18 September by the Korean electronics major. The new '-s' models bring marginal improvements to their predecessors.
Samsung Galaxy A50s features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED Full HD+ display. It is powered by the 10nm Exynos 9611 chipset that comes with AI powered Game Booster which improves frame rate, gaming performance and longevity on high performance games.
At the rear, it sports a triple rear camera setup with a combination of 48MP primary sensor, 5MP depth sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The U-shape cutout at the front houses a 32MP selfie shooter.
The Galaxy A30s is lit by a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-V Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1560 x 720. The device is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7904 processor and also comes with the AI powered Game Booster technology, Knox Security and Samsung Pay. In terms of optics, the device features a triple rear camera setup with 25MP as a primary sensor with LED flash, a 5MP depth sensor and an 8MP. For the front, the phone carries a 16MP sensor shooter.
Both smartphones pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging and run Android 9.0 Pie OS out-of-the-box.
