PremiumNew Delhi: Sony on Monday launched its new outdoor "party speaker", the GTK-PG10. Priced at ₹19,999, the speaker comes with Bluetooth connectivity with 13 hour battery backup.
Sony says the GTK-PG10 is ideal for enjoying music outside, whether it's a party, a picnic or a camping trip.
The GTK-PG10 comes with a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) which automatically adapts audio settings to optimize performance to suit your surroundings.
It also has foldable top panels that have built-in tweeters and cupholders. The built-in tweeters face upwards and outwards when the panel is unfolded which spreads the sound wider for outdoor parties. When the top panels are closed, and the top tweeters face frontwards, the GTK-PG10 projects sound forwards for volume and clarity.
Sony says the cube shape and built in handles makes it especially easy to transport the GTK-PG10, so that you can party just about anywhere. The speaker is also tripod compatible. The speakers have the dimensions of 330 x 376 x 303 mm and weigh around 6.7 kg.
The GTK-PG10 is compatible with the Sony Music Center and Fiestable app, which means users can change tracks or adjust volume just by speaking into their smartphone using an app. There is also a mic input, so you can enjoy karaoke with your friends and family as well. The speaker also has an FM tuner function and USB play and charge, so you can charge your smartphone on the go.
