Amazon Prime Day 2019 kicks off on 15 July: Here's what to expect

  • The sale will go live at midnight (12 am) on 15 July till 11:59 pm on 16 July
  • Smartphones including OnePlus 7, 7 Pro and 6T, Samsung M40 and the Oppo F11 Pro would be available at attractive discounts

Amazon India's third Prime Day will be held between 15 and 16 July. During the 48-hour long festival, Amazon will offer deals and discounts on its e-commerce platform and will also release a bunch of new movies and songs on Prime Video and Prime Music apps.

The sale will go live at midnight (12 am) on 15 July till 11:59 pm on 16 July.

During the event, Amazon Prime members will receive a 10% instant discount on purchase made using HDFC Bank debit and credit cards, unlimited reward points with Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card plus, no Cost EMI opition on credit cards, debit cards and Bajaj Finserv EMI cards.

Amazon Prime members would also have a chance to get up to 2,500 cashback from Amazon Pay on domestic flight bookings made via Amazon.in. In addition to this, Amazon is offering cashbacks of up to 850 on using Amazon Pay with popular apps such as Yatra, Box8, EazyDiner and Medlife.

A host of laptops, smartwatches and electronics would be available on offers during the sale. Smartphones including OnePlus 7, 7 Pro and 6T, Samsung M40 and the Oppo F11 Pro would be available at attractive discounts. The recently launched LG W-series of smartphones would go on their first sale during the Prime Day sale.

Amazon devices including Fire TV Stick and Echo devices would also be available at discounted rates.

Virtual reality (VR) booths would also be set up by the Seattle-based e-commerce major. These will let customers experience new product launches from top brands in VR. VR booths would be available in select malls in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Kolkata starting July 6, 2019.
