Android 10 available on Google Pixels, Essential Phone and Redmi K20 Pro on Day 1 of rollout

American software major Google on Wednesday officially initiated the rollout of the final version of Android 10. The latest version of Android was initially expected to be available only on Pixel devices, but some other partner devices have also received the update.

All Google Pixel devices, from the first Pixel all the way to Pixel 3a XL, have received the update. Surprisingly, the recently Redmi K20 Pro also received the Android 10 update, but the rollout for the device is limited only to its Chinese variants. The Essential phone also got the update on day one of rollout.

Smartphones in the Google Beta program will receive the update for sure, sooner or later. These include:

"This builds on top of our ongoing commitment to provide industry-leading security and privacy protections on Android. We also built new tools that empower people of all abilities, and help you find the right balance with technology," the company added.

To install the latest version of Android on your Pixel smartphone, simply head over to Settings > System > System updates.
