If you are planning to buy a new phone this festive season, Apple has a surprise for you. The company has reduced prices of all the older iPhone models in India, including Apple iPhone XR which was the best-selling iPhone in 2019. Cupertino-based tech giant unveiled its latest iPhone 11 series On September 10. Three new iPhones — iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone Pro Max — will be available for Indian customers from next week.
The biggest challenge for Apple in a price-sensitive market like India is cost and the premium smartphone maker is leaving no stone unturned to grab the market share in the country.
The new iPhone 11 will be sold in India at a starting price of ₹64,900. In terms of launch price, iPhone 11 is lower than last year's iPhone XR which was originally launched at ₹76,900.
The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, on the other hand, will start at ₹99,900 and ₹1,09,900 respectively.
Following the launch of the new iPhone 11 series, Apple has reduced the price of older iPhone models like iPhone XR, iPhone XS and other models.
Apple iPhone XR (64GB) is now available at ₹49,900 after a whopping discount of ₹27,000. The 128GB variant of Apple iPhone XR will now cost ₹54,900.
The 64GB base model of Apple iPhone XS is priced at ₹89,900 which was originally launched at ₹99,900. Apple iPhone XS 256GB will now be available at ₹1,03,900.
Apart from the iPhone models, Apple Watch has also got a price cut. Apple has also slashed the price of Apple Watch Series 3, which now starts at ₹20,900 in India.
Apple has reduced the prices of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in India ahead of the festive season.
The base model of Apple iPhone 8 (64GB) starts at ₹39,900. The price of iPhone 8 Plus (64GB) has now dropped at ₹49,900.
Apple iPhone 7 32GB is priced at ₹29,900 after the recent slash, whereas Apple iPhone 7 128GB will be available at ₹34,900. Apple iPhone 7Plus 32GB will cost ₹37,900 and Apple iPhone 7Plus 128 GB is now available at ₹42,900.
