Apple has unveiled the iPhone 11-series. Here are the highlights the Apple Special Event where the 2019 iPhones were launched

The 'Apple Special Event' took place Tuesday at the Steve Jobs Auditorium, Cupertino, California. Apple took the wraps off three new iPhones this year—the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Here are the highlights from the Apple Special Event:
— iPhone 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max: Prices
iPhone 11 Pro: $999 (about ₹72,000)
iPhone 11 Pro Max: $1,099 (about ₹80,000)
They will go on sale starting 20 September in the US.
— iPhone 11 Pro: Camera
iPhone 11 Pro has a triple-camera setup of 12-megapixel wide angle lens, 12-megapixel telephoto lens and 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens. It comes with up to 2x optical zoom. It can allow rolling two cameras rolling simultaneously in 4k and allow Pro-level video editing on Filmic Pro, allowing live selection of shots. On a smartphone. That's nuts!

'This is the first Pro iPhone, so that professionals can depend on getting work done with it,' says Phil Schiller about the iPhone 11 Pro.
The phones will come with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Apple is calling its display the Super Retina XDR display. The iPhone 11 Pro has two display sizes — 5.8 inches and 6.5 inches.
The A13 Bionic can do a trillion operations in a second, and this makes it the "best CPU for machine learning".
It comes with a 18W super-fast charger. The Pro variant can provide four hours more battery backup than a XS and the Pro Max variant can provide five hours more than a XS Max. No battery capacity information.

The Apple iPhone 11 is priced at $699 (about ₹50,300), at par with the iPhone XR launched last year.

'A13 Bionic is the fastest CPU and GPU in a smartphone,' says Cayenne, an Apple employee.

The renders were right, that square module will stay. It will come in six colours. Comes with spacial audio and Dolby Atmos. The rear facing camera module will consist of a 12MP wide angle camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 12MP ultra angle camera with f/1.4 aperture. Major emphasis on 2x optical zoom out, and not zoom in. It will maintain the LCD Liquid Retina display of the XR. It has a 12MP true depth camera, with a wide angle sensor. It can shoot 4k in 60FPS and even slo-mo (Apple calls this slo-fie).
Apple says the iPhone 11 will get an hour's worth of extra battery life, no battery capacity.

What's new?
Apple says it comes with an always-on display while maintaining an 18 hour battery life. It now has a compass to give better directions while navigating. Apple has beefed up the safety features of the Watch by adding international emergency calling and bettering fall detection. It has introduced a new Titanium finish and ceramic finish of the watch and some new stainless steel straps. There are also Nike and Hermes models. Goes on sale 20 September.

Apple wants you to sign up for the Apple Research app to let Apple gather data about things like Women's health, hearing and heart & movement. Apple has placed major emphasis on security and privacy.

New features include a larger 10.2-inch Retina display, A10 Fusion chip and iPad Pro-like smart connector to use Apple's keyboard accessories. It supports Apple Pencil now. Prices start $329. It goes on sale starting 30 September.

Apple announced original shows including The Morning Show starring Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carrel and See starring Jason Mamoa. The service will go live on 1 November in over 100 country and it is priced at $4.99 a month as well. New iPhones, iPad, Apple TV will come with one year of Apple TV Plus.

Apple Arcade is priced at $4.99 and will go live on 19 September.

— The fate of reverse wireless charging in 2019 iPhones
Apple-tracking analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has reportedly said in his latest note today that the much anticipated feature might not make it to the 2019 iPhones as its "charging efficiency may not meet Apple's requirements." The feature would have let users wirelessly charge Apple accessories including Apple AirPods and Apple Watch simply by placing them at the back of the new iPhones. This feature was first introduced in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, that was launched year, and then it made its way to the Samsung Galaxy S10-series.
