The iQOO Z10 has been confirmed to launch on 11 April 2025 as the successor to the iQOO Z9 from 2024. It is set to feature several upgrades, including a confirmed mammoth 7,300 mAh battery, a better camera, a refined design, and more. Here, we compare it to the iQOO Z9 from last year and highlight the three major upgrades we expect from the new mid-ranger, which is likely to be priced under ₹30,000. Read on.
From 5,000 mAh to 7,300 mAh—that’s a 2,300 mAh or 46% increase in battery capacity over last year’s model. This should result in a meaningful boost in battery life. More importantly, to complement this upgrade, iQOO is also bundling 80W fast charging, up from 44W in the previous model.
Design is another area where the iQOO Z10 sees a major improvement over its predecessor. It now sports a circular camera bump instead of the rectangular module found on the iQOO Z9. This, along with new colour options, Stellar Black and Glacier Silver, adds more character to the device compared to the previous model, which had a rather common-looking design.
Additionally, there’s a circular flash, reminiscent of offerings from Vivo, which should enhance flash performance and improve overall camera optics.
The iQOO Z9 features the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, which is a capable 5G chipset. However, the iQOO Z10 is expected to sport the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, also seen in recent offerings from rival brands like Nothing, with models such as the Nothing Phone 3a series. This upgrade should result in noticeable performance improvements over the previous generation.
