HMD Global, Nokia's brand-licensee, on Tuesday launched the Nokia 3.2. Sporting a 6.26-inch HD+ display and about two-day battery life, the smartphone is priced at ₹8,990 for the 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage variant. It comes in another variant with 3GB RAM/32GB storage that is priced at ₹10,790
It will go on sale in from 23 May via the Nokia website and top retail outlets.
Launch offers include ₹2,500 instant cashback for Vodafone and Idea subscribers, in the form of 50 vouchers of ₹50 each. These vouchers can be redeemed against recharges of ₹199 and above. HDFC Bank credit, debit, and EMI transactions through Pinelab terminals at offline stores will give buyers 10% cashback. The HDFC offer is applicable until June 15.
Buyers can also the LAUNCHGIFT promo code on purchase made via Nokia's website to receive a ₹1,000 gift card for future purchases.
Nokia 3.2 specifications
The Nokia 3.2 was launched alongside the Nokia 4.2, Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 1 Plus at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 held at Barcelona.
The Nokia 3.2 comes with a 6.29-inch HD display. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 429 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. It also gets a lonesome 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing shooter. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. It runs the Android One platform based on Android 9 Pie. This means the Nokia 3.2 will receive three years of monthly security patches and two major OS updates, as guaranteed in the Android One programme.
The smartphone is available in black and steel colour variants.
