Oppo India has announced the launch of their next big smartphone in India. The Oppo Reno 3 Pro will be launched on March 2 and will feature an all new dual punch hole camera, which the company is claiming to be the first 44MP dual punch-hole phone.
Oppo had launched the same device in China at the end of last year but it seems these will not be identical. The Oppo Reno 3 Pro launched in China just has a single lens punch hole camera. The smartphone was also launched with 5G support in China.
The phone has been teased on both Flipkart and Amazon and even gets separate microsites before the official launch next month. Since both e-commerce platforms have teased the device, interested buyers will be able to purchase it from either of the companies. Considering Oppo’s previous launches, Oppo India will also be giving out various offers for the device.
The company has been promoting the front camera on the Oppo Reno 3 Pro aggressively. The tag line ‘Clear in Every Shot’ is being used to emphasize on the 44MP lens.
The Reno3 Pro that has been launched in China comes with a 6.5-inch OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a single punch hole for the selfie camera. The panel has a 180 Hz touch detection rate for less lag and better gaming. It also comes with 100 per cent DCI-P3 coverage and HDR10 support. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G chipset. The Chinese version of the Reno3 Pro comes with 4,025 mAh batteries with 30W VOOC 4.0 support.
The company claimed that the phone goes from 0 to 50 per cent in 20 minutes, and 0 to 70 per cent in half an hour. Oppo also claimed that despite having 5G, the battery life won’t be any lower than any 4G phone. In India, Oppo is expected to get a 4G version of the device.
