Chinese smartphone maker Realme's much awaited Realme XT was launched today in India. The Realme XT starts at ₹15,999 in its base configuration of 4GB/64GB. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth at the event also announced the launch of Realme XT 730G, which will arrive here in November.
Sheth also said that the company is investing 300 crores in its manufacturing facilities to keep up with the demand during the Diwali festival season.

Realme XT's first sale will take place on 16 September from 12 noon via Flipkart.
Realme XT is lit by a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a dewdrop notch housing the 16MP Sony IMX 471 front facing sensor. The display also comes with a fingerprint sensor underneath it. Realme claims that its new phone will offer one of the fastest unlock speeds in the market. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 at the front and back.
At the back, the smartphone boasts a quad-camera configuration. It comprises an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens.
The Realme XT is runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 712 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone is also equipped with Dolby Atmos audio.
It ships with Oppo's ColorOS 6 based on Android Pie. Realme tweaked the custom UI to include system-wide dark mode, new fonts, and Android Pie’s ‘Digital Wellbeing’.
It packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for 20W VOOC 3.0 flash charge.
It will be available in two colours of ‘Pearl Blue’ and ‘Pearl White’.
