Reliance Jio Fiber plans: Check out Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium plans

Hoping to disrupt the broadband and DTH/cable TV market in India, Reliance Industries (RIL) today launched its much-awaited triple-play offering of Jio Fiber broadband, landline and TV amid much fanfare with the announcement of its tariff plans.

Data plans are available in six tiers, with the lowest end of the spectrum starting at ₹699 and going all the way up to ₹8,499. Promising lightning fast broadband speeds of up to 1 Gbps and a minimum of 100 Mbps, Jio Fiber also comes with a landline phone with free unlimited voice calls along with a set-top box which can also be bought for free.

These prices are exclusive of GST and extra data is available on long term plans as an introductory benefit.
Interested buyers will have to make a one-time payment of ₹2,500 which comprises ₹1,500 security deposit and ₹1,000 non-refundable installation.
Jio Fiber plans will come bundled with subscriptions to most leading premium OTT applications. The Bronze users will get three-month access to JioCinema and JioSaavn while the Silver users will get all OTT apps provided by Jio for three months. All other plans will get an annual subscription to all OTT apps.
Jio says it is also providing free calling anywhere in India and is bundling free TV video call conferencing (worth ₹1,200 a year), zero latency gaming (also worth ₹1,200 a year), home networking and device security from Norton free of cost with all its plans. VR and First Day First Show services will be available only to Platinum and Titanium members.
Jio said the service will be available in 1,600 cities.
Jio Fiber free set-top box, TV set:
The Jio Fiber set-top box has been designed in such a way that it can accept TV signals directly from cable operators. RIL has already acquired controlling stakes in Hathway, DEN and GTPL.
All those who buy Jio Fiber's long-term annual plans will get an HD or 4K LED TV set and a 4K set-top box for free.
If you install a camera along with the Jio set-top box, you would be able to make video calls also using your TV set.
Under the first-day-first-show offering, Jio Fiber customers will be able to watch movies on TV screens as soon as they are released in theatres. This service will be available only next year.

The long term plans are available in 3, 6 and 12-month (annual) subscriptions.
Users going for the 3-month plan will get 25% extra data on top of the original data cap. This means the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Titanium subscribers will get 375GB, 750GB, 1,875GB, 4,687GB, 9,375GB and 18,750GB of extra data respectively in the 3-month period.
Users going for the 6-month plan will get 50% extra data. This means the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Titanium subscribers will get 900GB, 1,800GB, 4,500GB, 11,250GB, 22,500GB and 45,000GB of extra data respectively in the 6-month period. 6-month users will also get a month of extra service.
Users going for the annual plan will get double data on top of the original data cap. This means the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Titanium subscribers will get 2,400GB, 4,800GB, 12,000GB, 30,000GB, 60,000GB and 120,000GB of extra data respectively in the 12-month period. Annual users will also get two months of extra service.
How to get Jio Fiber connection:
Jio Fiber registration can be done easily by visiting Jio website and submitting your name, address, mobile number and email id. Once the service is available in your area, Jio sales team will connect with you to collect documents and process your application.
Jio landline phone:
As part of the Jio Fiber package, you get a free landline phone connection with free unlimited voice calls across India. For international or ISD calls, Jio Fiber has an unlimited international calling pack at ₹500 per month, to US and Canada.
