Twitter adds 'safety mode' to block accounts for harmful language: How it works
- Anybody who uses Safety Mode can review which accounts have been automatically blocked for them and edit that list
In a bid to help reduce harassment, Twitter on Wednesday debuted a new product called Safety Mode that would allow users to temporarily block accounts for seven days for using harmful language or sending uninvited replies, the social media platform said.
