Chinese smartphone major Vivo launched a new smartphone in India—the Vivo Z1 Pro. Starting at ₹14,990, the Vivo Z1 Pro will go on sale starting 11 July at 12 noonon e-commerce platform Flipkart. The Vivo Z1 Pro is the smartphone in the Indian market to be powered Qualcomm's new chipset, the Snapdragon 712.
The smartphone comes in 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants priced at ₹16,990 and ₹17,990
Offers on the smartphone include ₹750 off on purchases made via ICICI Bank debit and credit cards and data benefits for Reliance Jio subscribers.
The Vivo Z1 Pro is lit by a 6.53-inch full HD display along with punch-hole display cutout for accommodating the front facing camera. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 712 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone has a Multi-Turbo mode that enhances its gaming performance. Vivo is also marketing the phones as the official smartphone for PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019.
For photography duties, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 16MP+8MP+2MP configuration. The 8MP camera has a wide angle sensor and it offers a field-of-view of 120-degrees.

In terms of design, the smartphone has a glossy back panel with a gradient finish design and a circular fingerprint sensor at the back. There's no in-display fingerprint tech in the Z1 Pro.
The smartphone is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery. To charge this, Vivo is shipping an 18W fast charger. Vivo claims to offer 40 hours of talk time and about 7.5 hours of PUBG gaming time with the Z1 Pro.
The smartphone runs Android Pie operating system with Vivo's Funtouch UI running atop.
