Xiaomi launched the Mi Power Bank 2i World Cup Edition in India to celebrate the ongoing cricket World Cup. The Power Bank sports the blue colour associated with the Indian Cricket Team.
Apart from the colour, the rest of the underpinnings of the device are similar to a regular Mi Power Bank 2i, which comes in White, Black and Red colour variants. The original offering was launched in 2017
The Mi Power Bank 2i in blue is powered by a 10,000mAh battery and sports dual-USB outputs along with two-way quick charge functionality. Xiaomi also claims that it's using high-density, lithium polymer batteries along with advanced resistance-capacitance sensors. The power bank also offers more than 90% conversion rate. There is also a low-power mode. One can use this mode by double pressing the power button to activate low-power charging for wearables.
The power bank is 14.2mm thick and comes with a metallic body casing. It claims to charge an iPhone 7 for three and a half times.
Earlier this year, Xiaomi announced three new wireless charging accessories in China, including Mi wireless power bank, 20W Mi wireless charger, and a 20W Mi wireless car charger. All of these support Qi charging standards.
The Mi wireless power bank is priced at 149 Yuan (about ₹1,500) in China and it offers 10,000mAh capacity, 10W wireless charging along with two-way quick charge.
