Apple has released the public beta of iOS 13 for iPhone users who want to try out its new features in advance. The final version is expected to roll out in September

Only once

A privacy centric feature, this will let users grant location access to an app for one time only. The app will have to request the user for the permission every time it needs to use their location.

Sign-in with apple

This will let users log in to their social media or other app accounts instantly using their Apple ID. It also obscures the user’s email id, making it more private

Quick path typing

Apple’s default keyboard now supports swipe gestures, such as Google’s Gboard and others, allowing users to type by just swiping their finger from one key to another

Dark mode

An optional feature, Dark mode adds a dark background to Apple apps such as mail, messages, settings, calendar and photos. It is expected to show up with third party apps too

Look around

A new feature in Apple Maps, it provides street-level view of a location to users in 3D format and pan around for a 360° view

Photos tab

Apple Photos app will be organizing photos into categories based on days, months and year so that users can search and find what they are looking for easily
