Rising oil prices are raising inflation fears and pushing bond yields higher, weighing down stocks on Wall Street. The S&P 500 fell 0.7% Tuesday.

US stock futures showed mild losses on 28 August as traders awaited signals on Federal Reserve policy from the Jackson Hole symposium. Nvidia and Salesforce's strong performances sparked optimism, while Treasury yields rose amid solid job market reports and concerns of another Fed rate hike.

US stock futures rose on 27 August, driven by Nvidia's strong second-quarter results, boosting chip stocks and alleviating AI rally concerns. Nasdaq futures increased 1%, while S&P 500 futures gained 0.4%.

Futures for US stocks slipped marginally as attention turned to Nvidia's earnings and the forthcoming PCE Price Index. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 fell slightly, while Dow Jones futures slightly increased, highlighting investor caution before significant economic announcements this week.
