It is a 4-day event held to announce Apple’s major software updates for all its platforms, and occasionally also to showcase new hardware. The conference is usually held at Apple Park in California. This year, it will be held online and offline - a few developers and students will be invited to Apple Park on June 5 to watch the keynote and State of the Union presentation. The first ever conference was held in 1983 and has grown to become an annual event that many look forward to.
