BHEL share price: Shares of public sector undertaking (PSU) — Bharat Heavy Electrical (BHEL) — tumbled nearly 5% in intraday deals on Thursday, August 7, as the company's net loss in the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26 doubled.

According to the exchange filing, the company has rescheduled the 61st AGM date to Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

BHEL announced a board meeting to reschedule the record date for its final dividend for FY25 and its AGM originally set for July 25, 2025. The revised dates will be announced later. BHEL also secured a ₹6,500 crore order from Adani Power, contributing to a strong financial performance.
