Bulls continue to rule the roost, both Sensex and Nifty hit fresh record highs on Thursday. Second-rung indices the BSE Midcap and Smallcap also hit fresh record highs in intraday trade. At closing time, Nifty ended the day, up 98 points closing just under 14,500 at 14,497. Over the last 5 trading days, benchmark nifty has made 770 points in gain. Sensex gave a strong closing to the day, up 339 points at 65,785. Sensex too has given phenomenal gains to investors in just the last 5 days. Since Friday last week, Sensex is up more than 1400 points.
