Gold and silver prices are surging to new records as concerns over a potential global trade war grow. MCX gold futures climbed to ₹1,58,339, and silver reached ₹3,35,521, driven by a weaker dollar and increased demand for safe-haven investments.

Silver rate today: Gold and silver prices came as investors sought safety in precious metals after US President Donald Trump said there was “no going back” on his goal to control Greenland, refusing to rule out taking the Arctic island by force and lashing out at NATO allies.

Gold price today: MCX gold February futures jumped by over ₹4,100, or nearly 3%, to hit a record high of ₹1,54,710 per 10 grams, while MCX silver March futures rose by over ₹2,800, or nearly 1%, to ₹3,26,487 per kg during the morning session.
