Grasim Industries reported Q2 FY26 consolidated revenue of ₹39,900 crore, a 17% increase year-on-year. Net profit rose 76% to ₹553 crore, driven by strong performance in building materials and chemicals, despite monsoon-related demand challenges.

Grasim share price has gained over 1% in one month, and has risen 5% in three months. The textile and cement stock has rallied 18% in six months, while it has gained 15% on a year-to-date (YTD) basis.

Q1 Results Today: Several companies including State Bank of India, Tata Motors, and Grasim Industries will report their Q1 financial results today, as per the BSE calendar. Other firms such as Wockhardt, Akums Drugs, and Garware Hi-Tech Films are also set to announce earnings on August 8.

Senior counsel Darius Khambata argued that the 1 July CCI order was issued without proper consideration or ‘any application of mind’, and said the company faces a similar investigation every time a new player enters the market.
