The upcoming summit is expected to be a successor of the Wuhan summit which saw a reset in the diplomatic relations between both the Indian prime minister and the Chinese president. But there’s a probability that the discussion will touch upon some of the sticky issues, including India’s amendment of the Article 370 in Kashmir. However, it would be prudent to steer the discussion towards a broader focus on economic cooperation, particularly the RCEP arrangement for India’s own economic benefit.
