Deepika Padukone-Nykaa collaboration comes at a time when the actress was dropped from two major projects, including the sequel to Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit.

FSN E-Commerce Ventures, parent of Nykaa, has seen a stock surge of nearly 70% over two years, closing recently at ₹209.85. The company has launched Nykaa Now and plans ambitious growth targets, with cautious brokerage views on its fashion segment but optimism for beauty products.

Nykaa share price fell over 9% on Monday, despite reporting sustained growth in Q4 FY2025, with consolidated net revenue expected to grow in the low to mid-twenties year-over-year. The full financial year is projected to achieve similar mid-twenty growth levels.

Nykaa shares gained 3% in intra-day trade following a robust Q3FY25 report. FSN E-Commerce Ventures reported a 61.43% YoY net profit increase to ₹26.12 crore and a 26.74% rise in revenue to ₹2,267.21 crore compared to the previous year.

While Nykaa has shed over 62 percent, Zomato and Paytm have lost 55 percent and 43 percent, respectively.

Nykaa has lost over 47 percent in 2022 year-to-date (YTD) and has tanked 57 percent from its record high of Rs 2,574, hit on November 26, 2021, its listing date.
