Seventh Pay Commission

Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced that the cabinet will discuss Dearness Allowance and the Seventh Pay Commission on May 18. A recent 4% DA increase brings it to 22%, but state employees still lag behind central staff due to differing pay commissions.

The Madhya Pradesh cabinet on Monday approved a 3% DA hike for 7 lakh employees and 3 lakh pensioners, costing ₹2450 crore annually. Additional welfare measures include micro irrigation projects, training for OBC youth, and increased nutrition for underweight children.
