While the day is known for fake announcements and playful product launches, these food deals are genuinely worth your attention. Here are April Fools' Day freebies and deals across the country, according to USA Today.

  • Dunkin' will give away 1,000,001 free coffees on April 1. To get the offer, you must be a Rewards member and enter the code “StillNotAJoke” in the app. You can choose any size hot or iced coffee (small, medium, or large). The code remains valid for 7 days after adding it. Cold brew and extra-large hot coffee are not included. Limited to one per customer.

  • BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse is offering a Sweet Heat Pepperoni Pizookie for dine-in orders on April 1 only. This item combines a dessert and pizza. It includes a Chocolate Chunk Pizookie base, two scoops of vanilla bean ice cream, pepperoni, and a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey. The price is $4.01.

  • Checkers & Rally's is offering its Big Buford burger for $3 on April 1 and April 2. The burger includes two beef patties, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, dill pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayo in a toasted bun.
  • Hooters is celebrating its anniversary on April 1 (founded in 1983). On this day, it is offering 10 wings for $4. The offer is available for dine-in customers only.

  • Shipley Do-Nuts is offering loyalty members a free four-pack of kolaches on April 1, 2026, as per a news release and its official Facebook post.
  • Krispy Kreme is launching a new Artemis II Doughnut to mark NASA’s planned Artemis II mission. The doughnut is available through April 2. It features an Original Glazed base dipped in blue vanilla icing, topped with Oreo crunch and white nonpareils, and finished with a cookies-and-cream buttercream and a red chevron design inspired by NASA’s logo. It is available in-store, for pickup, and for delivery via its website and mobile app.

  • Qdoba is offering free Signature 3-Cheese Queso or Queso Diablo Chips with the purchase of an entrée for rewards members on April 1.
