The relationship between Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump is reportedly under significant pressure. Sources say she has grown increasingly frustrated with his behavior and has issued him a direct ultimatum.
Tiger Woods is facing a critical moment in his relationship with Vanessa Trump. Sources say his upcoming rehab stint could decide their future.
The development follows Woods’ recent DUI arrest on March 27 after a car crash in Florida. After the incident, the PGA legend announced that he would step away from golf to seek treatment.
A judge has allowed Woods to leave Florida for a rehabilitation program, reportedly outside the United States, for privacy reasons. According to sources, Vanessa Trump has set strict conditions. She insists on a medically supervised program with doctors and counselors to address his dependence on prescribed pain and sleep medication.
Sources describe the situation as “make-or-break,” with Trump demanding a permanent change. Woods is said to be willing to meet these expectations, as he wants to continue the relationship.
A source close to Vanessa has told the Daily Mail that she wants Woods to attend a serious, results-driven facility, not a “country club” environment. She has reportedly made it clear that this is his final chance.
“She had specific criteria. This has to be a real rehab: doctors, counsellors. Obviously, there's a big physical component... these are prescribed drugs for legitimate pain and sleeping issues. This isn't meth. So this has to be doctor-supervised. It's pain management gone awry,” the insider told the publication.
“She doesn't want it to be a bulls*t country club. She's not looking to send him off to bootcamp, but the rehab has to be tough love. It has to work. Long-term,” the insider added.
LiveMint could not independently verify the Daily Mail's claims.
Another source said Woods has already identified a suitable rehab center and will begin treatment soon. According to the insider, the champion golfer is committed to recovery and wants to improve as a father, partner, and individual.
Woods faces misdemeanor DUI charges with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. While he passed a breathalyzer test, police said he was driving at high speed.
According to them, he showed signs of impairment after the crash. He also admitted to using his phone while driving, according to authorities.
Tiger Woods’ recent car crash marks the fourth such incident in 17 years. According to a report by The U.S. Sun, sources claim Vanessa has issued a firm ultimatum. She has warned him that she will not tolerate repeated patterns seen in Woods’ past relationships.
Woods’ former partners, Elin Nordegren and Lindsey Vonn, earlier gave him second chances before their relationships ended. However, insiders say Vanessa is unwilling to follow the same path and is growing frustrated with Tiger's behavior.
“She’s tired of the ups and downs,” a source said, adding that she feels burdened by his ambitions and struggles with his frequent mood swings. Vanessa has reportedly told Woods to take responsibility and change.
LiveMint could not independently verify the U.S. Sun's claims either.
“She’s exhausted, disappointed, and keeps telling him to stop acting like a teenager, grow up, take responsibility, become emotionally stable, and stay out of trouble,” Vanessa reportedly told her partner.
“When he’s in a bad mood—which happens often—he can be very difficult to be around,” the insider said.
“She’s told him directly that she’s not Elin or Lindsey Vonn…This is the last chance. She’s given him an ultimatum: either he changes and gets his life under control, or she’s gone for good,” the insider added.
