HDFC To Be World’s 4th Biggest Bank After Merger; Enters Big Boys League | Details

According to a Bloomberg report, HDFC will soon join the ranks of some of the world’s most valuable banks. HDFC Bank Ltd is all set to merge with the housing development finance corporation on 1st July. This merger will make the new entity the world’s 4th largest bank in terms of market capitalisation, behind only JP Morgan, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd. and Bank of America Corp.
