Known Modi government critique Raghuram Rajan is someone the BJP government feels compelled to respond to. Recently, Rajan wrote a paper criticising Modi government's PLI scheme. This time, Electronics & IT minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar deicded to rebut Rajan’s criticism in a point-by-point fashion through a LinkedIn post. The minister dismissed Rajan’s analysis of the PLI sceheme, he said, that Rajan used false figures, questionable analysis, and advice of unidentified 'industry experts' for his research paper.
