Mint Views | India slips to 112th position World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap report

India has slipped four places to 112th position in a ranking of 153 countries in the Global Gender Gap Report 2020 released by the World Economic Forum. The report tracks gender gap on four fronts: economic, political, education and health. While on political participation, India has fared well (18th place), on the other three parameters, it has done poorly. Mint Views Daily dispatch brings you scenes from the Mint edit table where ideas are mooted, discussed and debated before they make it to the coveted editorial page of the paper.
