On Friday, 19th May the RBI issued a notification that instructed banks to stop the circulation of ₹2000 banknotes. The general public was encouraged to exchange the ₹2000 banknotes in their possession. While the easiest way to exchange your 2000 notes is to visit the nearest bank and exchange them 20000 at a time. But there are people who want to avoid multiple visits to the bank. For them, buying gold and other assets is a good idea.
