3 Indians named in the 16th edition of Forbes Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropy list.

 First is Gautam Adani who is listed for pledging 60,000 crores in June this year. 

 The money will address healthcare, education, and skill development.

Adani, is the founder of conglomerate Adani Group, the largest port operator in India.

Self-made billionaire and philanthropist Shiv Nadar has channelled close to $1 billion.

This year, he donated  11,600 crore to the foundation he established in 1994.

Nadar, who cofounded HCL Technologies, stepped down from executive roles in 2021.

Tech tycoon Ashok Soota has pledged  600 crore to medical research.

He started Scientific Knowledge for Ageing and Neurological ailments with a  200 cr
