The Missing Matter

The universe's 95% is of unknown dark matter. The remaining 5% is of the baryonic matter comprising stars, planets, animals, and humans. As per the Big Bang theory, there should be twice as much baryonic matter as scientists can detect. This raises a question—where is the missing half of the universe's ordinary matter?

Super Charged Space Rays

At the South Pole, the IceCube Neutrino Observatory was built to detect elusive subatomic particles known as neutrinos. Soon after its construction, it received an unusually intense burst of cosmic rays striking the Southern Hemisphere. The origin of these cosmic rays remains unknown and puzzles scientists.

The Mysterious Void

Located about 700 million light-years from Earth near the Boötes constellation, contains an exceptionally low amount of matter, making it one of the darkest and most mysterious areas in space. This leaves scientists wondering—what could have caused such an enormous cosmic void?

The Space Roar

In 2006, NASA launched a balloon to the edge of Earth's atmosphere to detect radio signals and heat traces from distant galaxies and stars. The scientists were baffled at a mysterious radio signal six times stronger than expected, with no known source like black holes or star vibrations.

The Unidentifiable Probe

In November 1991, astronomer James Scotty discovered an unusual object, named 1991 VG, moving through the solar system that didn’t resemble an asteroid. To this day, the true nature and origin of 1991 VG remain a mystery.
