Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, were among the first celebrities to leave the U.S. just weeks after the November 2024 election to live in a British countryside farmhouse. 

Hollywood legend and vocal Trump critic Richard Gere revealed his plans to leave the U.S. months before the 2024 election. He and his wife, Alejandra, reportedly reallocated to Spain to be closer to her family.
