Pulmonary hypertension is a type of high BP that takes a toll on the arteries of the lungs and right side of the heart

This condition can occur due to unknown causes or obstruction of blood flow

Symptoms like early fatigue, breathlessness, tiredness, difficulty in climbing stairs, are commonly seen 

Pulmonary Hypertension may lead to cardiac arrest

 Pulmonary hypertension is more common in females and can occur as early as 15 to 20 years of age and even during pregnancy

 ECG, x-ray chest and 2D echo are simple tests to monitor and diagnose the condition
