Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) will be the longest sea bridge in India with 16.5 area above sea

To reduce travel time

MTHL will connect Sewri in central Mumbai to Chirle in Navi Mumbai in just 15-20 minutes

Open Road Tolling

MTHL will be the first sea bridge in India with an Open Road Tolling (ORT) system

New toll system

It will allow commuters to go past the toll booth at speed of up to 100 kmph without slowing down to pay the toll

Artificial intelligence-based cameras will be installed on the sea bridge to help reduce congestion on the road

Orthotropic Steel Deck

MTHL is the first bridge in India to use Orthotropic Steel Deck (OSD) for construction
