2025 WORLD HAPPINESS REPORT 

According to a report published by the Wellbeing Research Centre at the University of Oxford in collaboration with Gallup, India secured the 118th position out of 147 countries in the 2025 World Happiness Report, released on Thursday, March 20. 

Here Are The Top 10 Happiest Countries Around the World:

Finland retained its position as the world's happiest country once again, achieving a happiness score of 7.74.

Denmark closely follows Finland and is ranked second among the world's happiest countries. 

Iceland, a Nordic island nation, settles in the third happiest country in the world.

Sweden, another Nordic country, secures fourth position in the 2025 World Happiness Report. 

The Netherlands, a country in northwestern Europe, is ranked fifth among the happiest countries. 

Costa Rica, famous for its beaches, volcanoes, and biodiversity; stands in the sixth spot among the world's happiest nations.

Norway, a Scandinavian country, secures a seventh position in the 2025 World Happiness Report. 

Israel, a country in West Asia, holds the eighth spot among the world's happiest nations.

Luxembourg, a Western European nation, ranks ninth in the 2025 World Happiness Report, home to one of the world's happiest populations.

Mexico, the world's tenth-most populous country, ranks 10th in the 2025 World Happiness Report, securing its place among the happiest nations.
